AUV Technical Specialist (ET or EE) - Level 1

The most important and essential function of this position is attitude and includes the following: getting along with co-workers, responding politely to members of the community, working as a team member, functioning well under pressure, responding in a positive manner to supervision, and maintaining inter-office confidentiality.  Other duties of the position include but are not limited to:

  • Basic Understanding of AUV and its operations
  • Listens and Perform Instructed Task
  • Works well with others
  • Assist in task assigned by CC, ACC, PC
  • Strong work ethic
  • Keeps clean workplace
  • Basic mechanical skils
  • Electrical skills: Use of Metters and Meggers,  Proper Soldiering Techniques,  Understanding of Electrical Diagrams

Qualifications: Entry Level (0-6 months valuable experience)

2 year ET degree or equivalent for ET. 4-year EE degree or equivalent for EE.

Salary Range:

Application Requirements: Physical Requirements: Normal balance and depth perception, able to live aboard boats for extended periods of time (no chronic seasickness). Must be able to lift 50 pounds repeatable, climb ladders, and work on deck in a marine environment. Must be able to get a passport and be available for overseas travel.
