C & C's C-Surveyor I AUV Steaming To Brazil

November 25, 2002 - C & C Technologies' C-Surveyor AUV I, aboard the R/V Rig Supporter, began a 10-day transit from the coast of West Africa to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on November 21, 2002. The AUV will perform two site-specific hazard surveys and a pipeline as-built survey for Petrobras. The surveys are expected to begin on December 4th and be completed by December 12, 2002.

C & Cs AUV collects high-resolution multibeam bathymetry, side scan sonar, and subbottom profiler data in a single pass. C & C has performed more than 18,000 kilometers of deep-water AUV surveys for a wide variety of clients over the last two years.

Tours of the vessel and AUV will be offered at the completion of the survey. Clients with prospective work in Brazil are encouraged to contact C & C ahead of time to reserve the AUV while it is in the area.
