Acoustic Metrology

C & C offers acoustic metrology services. Acoustic metrology is a method of collecting three dimensional measurements for spool piece and jumper fabrication. C & C provides this service to our clients as spool pieces and jumpers are required in order to connect subsea structures such as manifolds and pipelines. Due to the inflexible spool piece and jumper material the spool piece and jumper cannot be fabricated until the subsea structure has first been installed onto the seabed. Our job as the surveyor is to provide highly accurate measurements between the subsea structures’ connecting hubs in order to fabricate a spool or jumper that will fit.
