Target Drones

Fast Marine Target Drones System
Designed and built for training naval personnel to combat the threat of attack from multi-vehicle fast inshore attack craft, the FMTD System is a high speed, cost-effective expendable target.

The craft is designed to allow for rapid damage assessment, ease of repair and low environmental impact on final destruction/disposal. The control system provides for multi-vehicle, close-quarters operations with good situational awareness and has been used up to a range of 10 km.

Multi-vehicle FMTD batches have been delivered to and operated for the United Kingdom’s Ministry of Defense. The system has also been applied to other high-risk activities as a low cost but capable unmanned surface vehicle.

Fast Ground Target System

Designed and built for use on land ranges, this system consists of a core vehicle with protected engine and control system. The core vehicle is fitted with a re-configurable space frame.

The FGT system uses the same proven control system as the Fast Marine Target Drones system and offers GPS and video feedback.
The FGT has been designed and built to offer a cost effective mobile land target for trials and training purposes. The control system is based on the FMTD as used in many UK gunnery trials.

The design is based on a gasoline powered all terrain vehicle with a re- configurable frame that can represent various car and pick-up truck outlines. The control and engine components are protected with light armour to reduce the risk of damage from shrapnel and small arms fire.

The control system provides for multi-vehicle, close quarters operations with video and GPS feedback and offers a line of sight range of 2-3 miles. Options exist for heat and radar signature enhancement and missed distance indicators.
